Happy Birthday to me!! Yes, the big 29. My day started with breakfast that Adam made. He so sweet!! He also makes the best breakfast! We haven't been to Zion's National Park in 4 years so we drove there for my birthday. We decided to bring Monte with us. Bad idea! Monte got car sick. It was not fun. I can barely handle cleaning up after my own kids let alone a dog. Yuck! But a good thing we found out on a short trip and not the trip to Idaho we are going on in a couple of weeks.

So we drove to the opening of the park and we walked around their trails. We even saw about 10 deer on our walk. We only walked maybe a half a mile or more but with the twins it took almost 2 hours. The kids had so much fun and it was nice to be outside and see the beautiful rocks. The weather was pretty good too! Afterwards we went to St. George and enjoyed even better weather.

Here I am with my yummy cake. Adam bought me a chocolate mud ice cream cake from Maggie Moo's. It was so good. We are totally hooked on maggie moo's ice cream. It has only been open for a month and we have already been there at least 4 times. Yikes! I also got some wonderful gifts. Adam gave me a big cast iorn skillet for camping this summer and the girls got me the Joseph Smith Journals. My parents also got some piano books, since I've been trying to teach myself the piano again. It was a wonderful day!!!
